What Mwendo is
Talent is everywhere, opportunity is not.
Mwendo is a program that fixes that. We show Kenyan students the opportunities that exist, connect them to people who have walked different paths, and help them build the skills to go after what they want.
Exposure
Students get systematic exposure to opportunities they would never have found on their own, plus a network of peers, near-peers at different universities, and professionals across many industries.
Skills
Students learn to ask good questions, interview people, write for a real audience, and hold their own when their thinking gets challenged.
Community
Access to a cohort of students moving in the same direction, plus a platform that surfaces timely opportunities of all kinds, all year round.
